At one of the prime restaurant locations in downtown Oakland, Tribue Tavern opened this 5,000-square-foot restaurant renovation inside Oakland’s historic Tribune Tower. The project updated the floors, oak millwork finishes and layout while retaining historic elements including circa-1906 marble, restored columns and table bases made from 1920s newspaper carts. The finished space accommodates roughly 150 guests across the bar, lounge, patio and private dining room.
